rssHQ: Status as Output, Not Input preview
Roadshow Staffing recruiters were staffing new events every week in new cities, but their Airtable pipeline couldn't tell them what needed to happen next without opening record after record. I designed and built rssHQ to turn recruiting decisions into triggered workflows, so status became the system's output, not something recruiters had to manage by hand.
Designed the first integration of Google's Perspective API into a commenting platform: a graduated response system that gave commenters one chance to reconsider and moderators a confidence signal instead of a verdict. In a controlled McClatchy study, 36% of warned commenters edited to reduce toxicity.
I came to design through journalism, law school, and higher education; each chapter shaping how I think about the people a system is supposed to serve. I've spent the last 10 years designing (and now building) products across content moderation, workforce operations, editorial tools, and labor compliance.
